Dr. Jeffrey Etemad is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and ReCODE 2.0 Certified practitioner who is double board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. His primary goal is to work with participants on the Bredesen Protocol to help prevent and reverse cognitive decline through the ReCODE and PreCODE programs.
For the last 25 years, Dr. Etemad has helped teach osteopathic medical students in medical school, office, and free clinic settings. Several years into clinical practice, he found he was unable to help some patients with cognitive decline. In 2016, he first trained with Dr. Bredesen at the Buck Institute in Novato, CA, as the Bredesen Protocol seemed like a natural fit with his patient care approach.
Training in the Biodynamic Approach to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field has given Dr. Etemad a valuable way to address Traumatic Brain Injury. Alongside osteopathic treatment, he uses many testing and treatment strategies to help Bredesen Protocol participants develop a comprehensive treatment plan.

Getting Started
If you select Dr. Etemad as one of your ReCODE practitioners in the Apollo Health System, he will work with you and your primary care physician to support you on the Bredesen Protocol through the ReCODE and PreCODE programs.
Meet and Greet Visit
30 minutes: $250
Ask questions about the protocol and Dr. Etemad’s program. This visit gives you the opportunity to discuss what it means to work together and decide whether it is a good fit.
Pricing
ReCODE Initial Program: $2500 / 6 months, includes 4 hours with the doctor.
ReCODE Follow-Up Program: $1800 / 12 months, includes 3 hours with the doctor.
PreCODE Initial Program: $1800 / 6 months, includes 3 hours with the doctor.
PreCODE Follow-Up Program: $1200 / 12 months, includes 2 hours with the doctor.
Additional time with the doctor, including research time needed for your case, is billed at $400 per hour.

- Up to 2 portal / email messages between appointments
- Ordering labs and inputting data on the Apollo portal
- Monitoring BrainHQ progress
- Tracking monthly progress through CNS Vital Signs or Cq Assessment
- Baseline and repeated MoCA Tests
- Telemedicine follow-up availability
Program Add-Ons
Available add-ons include single in-office osteopathic treatment sessions, packages of osteopathic treatments, EWOT sessions, combined osteopathic treatment and EWOT sessions, and IntellxxDNA interpretation consultations.
Costs for labs, supplements, equipment, supplies, adjunct therapies, or additional programs are not included in the program price. This practitioner speaks English only and does not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or any other insurance.
